sad looking manAs the COVID-19 pandemic stretches into yet another year, people are experiencing the related stress and anxiety that comes from this prolonged disruptance to our normal lives. It is a natural reaction to feel stress, anxiety, grief and worry because of living through a pandemic. Yet it can be a problem if someone you know is so focused on COVID that it interferes with their daily life. Isolation, avoiding public places, obsessive cleaning and feeling hopeless may be signs of having a high level of anxiety. In this Brook Lane sponsored program, Jesse Davis, LCSW-C discusses the stress and anxiety you may be feeling as a result of the prolonged pandemic and effective ways to cope.

Jessie Davis, LCSW-C, is a Lead Clinician and therapist with the Brook Lane THRIVE Program at the Frederick Outpatient Office.
