This 4-hour ZOOM seminar will introduce advanced skills for optimizing cognitive behavior therapy for the treatment of individuals with panic disorder. The seminar will emphasize strategies to enhance learning during exposure practices for panic disorder. Attendees will be introduced to effective strategies for the management of two common types of negative cognitions in panic disorder. Featuring: Lily Brown, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry and Director, Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania. She specializes in cognitive-behavior therapy for anxiety disorders, including Exposure and Response prevention (EX/RP) for obsessive compulsive disorder, and has been trained in the treatment of borderline personality disorder.
