Washington Goes Purple
A substance use education movement that will engage our community and youth to prevent addiction and eliminate stigma! Having open, honest conversations educating our kids about the dangers of prescription pill misuse, drugs and alcohol gives them the tools needed to make healthy decisions and prevent addiction. As a community, we must work to eliminate stigma so that people who are struggling with substance use or mental health issues are not afraid to reach out to receive help!
Frederick County Goes Purple
A grassroots call to action to unify and educate the Frederick County community to reduce substance-related deaths and overdoses. This massive community-wide observance takes place during National Recovery Month in September with ongoing training throughout the year. Frederick County supports those in active addiction, recovery, and their loved ones; offers hope and resources; and invests in the future of its youth through prevention education.
