CE Course: A Deeper Look at Assessments in Clinical Supervision

Course Description: This 3 CE hour training delves into effective assessment strategies within clinical supervision, focusing on evaluating supervisees’ competencies, case conceptualization skills, and application of evidence-based practices. Participants will learn to integrate structured assessments and observational techniques to promote professional growth.

Course Objectives:

1. Identify and utilize effective assessment tools in clinical supervision.

2. Differentiate between formative and summative assessments for supervisees.

3. Analyze real-world cases to enhance the accuracy of assessments.

4. Improve feedback delivery using assessment data.

Including interactive Exercise: Participants practice using assessment rubrics for competency evaluation.

Featuring Speaker: Julie Fleagle, MS, LCPC, Clinical Supervisor Julie is a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified professional counselor supervisor in the state of Maryland. She has been working in the mental health field for more than 20 years and currently co-owns Willow Tree Counseling Center, a group private practice in Maryland. In 2015, Julie started specializing in working with children as young as 3 years old and is now a sought-after child and family therapist.
