PLEASE READ: COVID-19 GUIDELINES
If you are a current client in one of Brook Lane’s programs or services and you have traveled outside Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virgina, West Virginia, or Washington, DC in the past 7 days, it is recommended thay you get a COVID test upon your return.
If you have an appointment with one of our providers, please call and our staff will help you reschedule. This will not be counted as a no-show if you notify staff of your illness prior to or on the same day as your appointment. If you need a medication refill, call and we will provide a prescription to meet your need until your next appointment.
When you arrive at one of our locations, your temperature will be taken immediately and you will receive a symptoms screening before you may proceed with your appointment. To allow you to focus on your appointment and to limit the number of people in our waiting rooms, we are requesting that adult clients not bring other family members with them. Clients under the age of 16 are permitted to have only 1 parent/legal guardian accompany them.
Thank you for your help in keeping our therapeutic environment safe for all patients, clients and staff.
Brook Lane has one of the region's largest and most qualified groups of outpatient mental health care providers. Our professional staff provides assessment, evaluation, and medication management, as well as individual and family therapy. The diversity of treatment options allows our clinicians to provide individualized care for each child. Outpatient treatment offers support, guidance, and intervention to young people and their families.
Our treatment team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, licensed social workers, and licensed professional counselors. The therapists are licensed master's level clinicians. These practitioners are committed to helping children and adolescents be more effective in caring for themselves, relating to others, and achieving goals. Our approach to successful therapy and medication management is individualized.
Outpatient therapy is offered on Brook Lane's main campus, at the North Village office in Hagerstown and in our outpatient office in Frederick.
Take the First Step
Assistance begins by contacting our Intake/Admissions Office at 301-733-0331 x1703 or 800-342-2992. Brook Lane accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans.
Your first session with a therapist is to complete a series of questions to develop a better understanding of your concerns. The therapist will ask questions and record your responses. The information will be used to develop a diagnosis of your symptoms and to determine which therapist may be a good match.
