The anticipation of starting a new school year can be difficult for some students. Academic pressure, making new friends and any kind of change from the previous year can cause stress and anxiety. During this virtual program, Laura Zukowski, LCPC, will discuss the most effective ways that parents can help children of all ages be emotionally prepared for a successful school year.

Laura Zukowski, LCPC, is a licensed clinical professional counselor with Brook Lane. She is currently providing therapy services at Boonsboro Middle and High Schools and Williamsport High School as a collaborative effort between Brook Lane and Washington County Public Schools to assist students struggling with mental and behavioral concerns.
